Are you showing signs of insanity?
Anyone that puts in the time on the range deserves their success come the weekend. However, it's not just hard work that gets that handicap down or grooves that soft draw you've been working on. To help explain, have you heard the saying,
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?"
How true this can be.
Next time you head to the range ask yourself whether what you're doing in practice is actually helping; maybe you're exacerbating a problem, grooving a swing path that's working against you? We commend those of you who put the hours in away from the course, but for the best results you want that time to really count.
A quick refresher or game assessment with the team could really help, after which you'll get more from your practice sessions - which you can then take to the course.
